If a customer does have air suck by SkimmerMotion, the Skimmer set up need to be verified. In some situations, if Suction Vacuum is too strong for the Pool Cleaner to perform.
The vortex should be strong enough to eliminate surrounding water with dust & debris, but no Air.
Air suction usually is detected by a air noise into the vortex, if this is the case, check the following causes:
- Align clear base pin with base hole #3 (this will reduce the suction from the top of the Skimmer.
- The ballast (provided) should be positioned in the second segment (~2 ft from surface) of the 3/4" corrugated hose. - Add an additional Ballast or weight) next to the actual ballast.
- If Noise continue, reduce suction port suction by moving the valve in the pool pump area to reduce the suction (vacuum) diverted to SkimmerMotion.
