We had tested and now recommend the use of a shorter hose to connect your SkimmerMotion to your suction side cleaner. This configuration uses the same 3/4" corrugated hose but using only 4 segments of hoses (11" 4 = 44"). If you have the standard 7 Segment hose (the one that comes with the SkimmerMotion), you can cut it to make it only 4 segments (approximately 44" long). If you have one ballast, the ballast should be positioned one segment below the surface (see picture). If your system is using 2 ballast, attach the ballast the second one 2 segments from the surface. The Tee-Join should be placed one hose apart from the Suction side Cleaner (see pictures). If your pool is deeper than 8 ft, then connect the Tee-Join 2 hose apart from the suction side cleaner.
We no longer sell the long hose for 9 ft pool, instead, we recommend using a shorter hose, ONE Suction side cleaner HOSE APPART from the cleaner. Please see the picture for more clarity.
CONNECTING THE SkimemrMotion CORRUGATED HOSE SEPARATE FROM THE CLEANERS WILL FIT DEEPER POOLS.
Please cut any hose in excess.
